Noted professional speaker and personal development consultant, Michael
Schwass, MSW, has appeared on The Today Show, CBS "American Parade Show,"
and CNN. He has been a guest on a number of radio stations, including WGN -
"Chicago's Very Own." Recently, he has been working to complete his upcoming
book, Don’t Blame the Game which tells his story of sustaining a devastating
blow to his neck in a hockey accident, which left him paralyzed from the
neck down for life. An instant quadriplegic. Don’t Blame the Game is the
chronicle of this indomitable youth who decided he would walk again, and the
astonishing transformation that characterized his journey.
Michael Schwass contacted Integrated Web Solutions in August of 2004 to
design and develop a web site for this his new project. IWS began by
registering domain names and setting up a hosting and e-mail environment and
then met with Michael to build a site that wasn’t just about the new book
but also about his speaking engagements and personal development practice.
“Michael has a great story to tell not only about his life and experiences
but the success that he has had and is still achieving, Don’t Blame the Game
seemed to us like it was the latest stop in Michael’s journey. While it was
the most important to date, there much more to tell and I believe that is
what we achieved,” said IWS creative director, John Schwarberg.
Michael Schwass provided content throughout the site including some excerpts
from the new book and IWS built in e-commerce functionality allowing
pre-orders of the book. “The site looks fantastic and IWS really helped us
pull everything together,” said Schwass. “I’m excited to have this as a
place for my audience to come and contact me and I’m looking forward to the
release of the book in January, 2005.”
